“These started as two pairs of shoes, one cheap pair of black pleather boots and an old pair of canvas shoes. The heel ‘spring’ is actually plastic tubing as I could screw this straight into the heel to secure it firmly (plus a lot more sensible to walk in).”

Etsy Crocheted Tentacle Scarf. Not a DIY (but awesome) because I cannot find a pattern for this anywhere! One woman knitted one that kind of looked like this here, posted the pattern and took it down because she wants to sell it on Ravelry (but it’s still not posted). From creeplings’s Etsy Store here (where she’s sold out and swears she’s never going to do another custom order ever).
