Reblogging. Dashboard. I follow an insane number of people and I don’t see everything.

ambiguousmiss replied to your post: Not a question in any form but I thought I should let you know the self reblogging is a stain on your otherwise glistening crafty blog.

I’m not a fan of the reblogging.. I don’t see the point because everything shows up on the dashboard for everyone early or late “viewers” can see, and its frustrating when there’s only 15 posts between.. However it’s your blog and you can do whatever

I hope people who read this read the other posts a little further back on this subject. Again, I’m not going to mention names, but there are lots of crafts’ blogs on Tumblr who reblog over and over again – although I know this isn’t your point.

I appreciate that you aren’t a fan of reblogging. I personally don’t care if it wastes a few minutes of my time, but others do and that has been made very clear to me.

When I am following over 1200 people I don’t see everything that shows up on the dashboard (that’s why I ask certain people to message me if they’ve done a craft they want me to post because I may not see it on the Dashboard). I go on and look at the dashboard all the time and then I see 40 more posts have come up in only a few minutes. Maybe it’s because I follow so many people, but even if I only followed 70 people and those 70 people posted/reblogged from other people 20 posts each, that’s still 1400 posts to go through. Also, as annoying as it is (for me too) from experience, my most popular posts are the ones I actually reblog.
