DIY Framed Family Recipes. I really love this idea, but might frame Yahtzee score cards instead. Tutorial from Tattered Style here. *A suggestion (from someone who archives and restores photographs) to make this project even better – Do not use the originals as she does in the tutorial. Photograph or scan the recipes (huge debate about whether scanning/copying images destroys the ink and makes it eventually disappear), and then you don’t have to worry about archival issues. She should be using archival mats (now cheap), archival backing board, museum glass etc… which would turn this project very expensive very quickly. But my way is cheap – and you will still see the character of the recipe ie the wrinkles, stains, rips and tears of a well loved recipe.
